The 2019 AWWA Water Quality & Technology Division Best Paper Award

The American Water Works Association Water Quality & Technology division gave the best publication award 2019 to the paper “ Impact of Combined Chlorination and Chloramination Conditions on N-Nitrosodimethylamine Formation”.
The authors are Stuart W. Krasner, Chih Fen Tiffany Lee, William A. Mitch and URS VON GUNTEN, the head of the Laboratory for Water Quality and Treatment at EPFL.
The American Water Works Association is an international, nonprofit, scientific and educational society dedicated to providing total water solutions assuring the effective management of water. Founded in 1881, the Association is the largest organization of water supply professionals in the world.
This paper was be evaluated on the basis of the impact on water and public health benefits for both research and applications; timeliness of the contribution; and professional and editorial quality of the paper.
