The 11th Swiss Transport Research Conference (STRC 2011)

This year, the Swiss Transport Research Conference (STRC 2011) will proceed form the 11 may to the 14 may 2011 and will again take place at Monte Verita, Ascona (Ticino). The Swiss Transport Research conference try to act as a forum that brings together researchers using different approaches.

The STRC is an excellent venue to get updates on the state of transportation research in Switzerland and it's the ideal place for researchers to present their results and share their ideas. This year, the Swiss Transport Research Conference (STRC 2011) will proceed form the 11 may to the 14 may 2011 and will again take place at Monte Verita, Ascona (Ticino), Switzerland.

The goal of this conference is to act as a forum which brings closer the Swiss researchers. By gathering all this people, the conferences will be able to expose all different approaches to understand transportation phenomena by exposing a wide range of investigative topics form research in trasportation and land use, logistics and travel, behaviour to traffic engineering and environmental impact analysis. Three keynote speakers (Prof. Richard Arnott : Traffic Dynamics in the Morning Rush Hour: Beyond the Bottleneck Model / Nigel Wilson : The Role of Information Technology in Improving Transit Systems / Daniel Graham : n/a ) will give deep insights into specific areas of their research in Engineering, Economics and Geography.
