SXL pre-selected for the Architecture Biennale in Lyon

Corentin Fivet and Sofia Colabella's proposal entitled "Waste your time, not materials" has been preselected for the special workshop 'Atelier des Utopies' during the first Architecture Biennale in Lyon (BAL), June 7 - July 9, 2017. The BAL's objective is to be an alternative 'living workshop', putting both the architecture practice and the people at the center of the agenda. Corentin Fivet and Sofia Colabella (Structural Xploration Lab, EPFL) address waste generation issues by developing an elastic gridshell out of reclaimed material from the sport industry. The pavilion is scheduled to be assembled and disassembled in different places of Lyon, France, through a participative process. More information will be published soon.
