Alex Muresan, scientific collaborator at the Structural Xploration Lab is giving a virtual presentation on reusable and readaptable buildings at the "Beyond 2020" World Sustainable Built Environment Online Conference organized by Chalmers University in Sweden.
Buildings are mainly demolished due to their incapacity to readapt in order to fulfill the needs of their users, owners, or the cities they are located in. Therefore, new design approaches and construction methods have to be implemented such that buildings will be able to adapt to unforeseeable demands of the future. One such solution that has been developed at Structural Xploration Lab will be presented during his talk.
