Special Bonuses 2021 at LPI

Three members of LPI received a special bonus for their extraordinary contributions and performances during the year.
We are happy to announce that three of our staff were awarded special bonuses (primes spéciales) this year.
Our Financial Administrator Carmen Martinez gave an outstanding performance managing the laboratory's diverse grants and projects. She navigated brilliantly through the muddled waters caused by the worldwide COVID pandemic.
Dr. Jing Gao deserves the special bonus for her research achievements in the field of CO2 electro-catalytic conversion into chemical fuels. More specifically, she discovered a catalyst that accomplishes the direct reduction of carbon dioxide to propylene, opening a new way for the production of this chemical compound which serves as a vector/carrier for the large-scale industrial manufacturing of polymers.
The bonus obtained by Dr. Shen Zhongjin rewards his discovery of a new dye that shows extraordinary power as a sensitizer for our dye photovoltaic cells promising large-scale industrial applications.
