Marilyne Andersen (LIPID) was invited to a keynote talk at the Symposium on Simulation for Architecture and Urban Design (SimAUD) held at the Technical University of Deft, Netherlands, in June 2018.
Marilyne Andersen presented ongoing research projects at her laboratory (LIPID), she also presented the recent development of OcuVis, a new software which can model natural light from the occupants' perspective. This software was the subject of an article co-authored with Dr. Maria Amundadottir and Dr. Siobhan Rockcastle, an alumni of LIPID, now assistant professor at the University of Oregon, who was also co-chair and first author of the paper entitled "OCUVIS: A Web-Based Visualizer for Simulated Daylight Performance".
