The ACM Special Interest Group on Multimedia (SIGMM) award for a PhD thesis at EPFL.
The 2010 winner of the ACM Special Interest Group on Multimedia (SIGMM) award for Outstanding PhD Thesis in Multimedia Computing, Communications and Applications is Effrosyni Kokiopoulou. Dr. Kokiopoulou receives the award for her thesis - Geometry-Aware Analysis of High-Dimensional Visual Information Sets –that she has done at the Signal Processing Laboratory (LTS4), headed by Prof. Frossard Pascal. Her work has also been awarded the EPFL doctorate award.
