Last semester, I did a 6 months internship in the R&D team at Pixar Animation Studios in Emeryville, California. Working with the top researchers and engineers in the field, I first developed and implemented new algorithms in their rendering software, RenderMan. Then, in a second time, we put together a team of artists and engineers to extensively apply these new tools on one of their future movie.

Through these 6 months, I had the opportunity to learn the process of conducting development and research projects with the support of really talented and motivated people. Pixar truly takes care of its interns, organizing meeting with supervisors from different departments and giving us the opportunity to learn new skills at the "Pixar University". It was a great and fun experience to be part of this industry, meeting amazing people from all around the world and be on "this side of the making-of" for a couple of months. ​
