Publish your thesis while respecting copyright rules
The EPFL Library offers a new guide for PhD students: "Publish your thesis while respecting copyright".
It is very common to reuse published (or unpublished) content in a thesis (e.g. in the case of the theses made of a compilation of published articles). It is therefore important to ensure that the use (or reuse) is possible and to ask for authorizations from the rights holders when necessary.
The new EPFL Library guide “Publish your thesis while respecting copyright” is freely available on Infoscience, the EPFL scientific publication dissemination platform, and provides information on how to reuse other content while respecting the rules of copyright.
The Library offers other tools and services for PhD students writing and publishing their thesis:
- EPFL theses dissemination and supply
- Publishing Support services
- Publishing Support Fast Guides
- Research Data Management services and tools
- Training programs
