Professor Virginie Lurkin awarded the ENAC Polysphère 2018

Virginie Lurkin, former postdoc at the Transport and Mobility laboratory, has received on Saturday the ENAC Polysphère, awarded by the students to the best teacher in the the School of Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering.

Every year, during the Graduation Ceremony, the students honour the best teacher of each school with an award called "Polysphère". This year, the Polysphère for the School of Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering has been awarded to Virginie Lurkin, as a reward for her outstanding teaching. This prize is the greatest award a professor can receive directly from students at EPFL. Virginie has been working as a postdoc at the Transport and Mobility Laboratory at ENAC from October 2016 to August 2018. She was in charge of the course "Decision-aid methodologies in transportation" offered for MSc students in Civil Engineering. Since September 2018, she is Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences at Eindhoven University of Technology.
