Prof. Lignos gives an invited presentation in SERA workshop

Prof. Lignos gave an invited presentation on "Fragility and Vulnerability Functions for Steel Components and Buildings" during the SERA Worskop as part of the Framework for Seismic Physical Vulnerability Assessment.
The worshop took place in Porto/Portugal in September 27 to 28 2018. Invited experts from Europe discussed and presented several interesting studies regarding building specific and regional seismic risk. Professor Lignos presented on key issues associated with component and building-specific seismic risk assessment with emphasis on the collapse risk of steel buildings.
