Prof. Hon. A.J. Schleiss & Prof. C. Ancey granted 2021 IAHR Awards

Given every two years at the biennial World Congresses, the 2021 awards were announced at the first ever IAHR Online Forum and will be presented at the opening ceremony of the 39th IAHR World Congress in Granada on 24 June 2022.
In recognition of his career and contributions in the field of hydraulic research and his outstanding service to the association, Prof. Hon. Anton J. Schleiss was unanimously awarded IAHR highest honour of Honorary Membership of the IAHR International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research, founded in 1935.
Prof. Christophe Ancey also received the Harold Jan Schoemaker Award for the most outstanding paper published in IAHR Journal of Hydraulic Research, issue 1, volume 58, 2020 intitled Bedload transport: a walk between randomness and determinism.
