Medium Frequency Transformer Design Optimization
Mr. Marko Mogorovic has successfully defended his PhD thesis, titled "Modeling and Design Optimization of Medium Frequency Transformers for Medium-Voltage High-Power Converters". The examination committee was composed of: Prof. Jürgen Biela (ETHZ, Switzerland), Prof. Torbjörn Thiringer (Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden), Dr. Gabriel Ortiz (ABB, Switzerland) and supported by Prof. Sophia Haussener (EPFL, Switzerland). Thesis deals with multiobjective design optimization of high power medium frequency transformers for solid state transformers.
