Open Science Evening Talks 2017: free event

EPFL Library is pleased to invite you to the “Open Science Evening Talks 2017”. This free event will take place from Monday 25th to Thursday 28th September, from 6pm to 7.15pm, at the Rolex Learning Center. Each day will focus on a specific aspect of Open Science: landscape, publications, research data, code and tools.
The main goal is to encourage a constructive thinking and stimulate discussions about Open Science, offering every evening two or three short public lectures followed by an aperitif, to allow participants exchange in an informal and convivial context.
The event is open to EPFL community, as well as all those who would like to learn more about Open Science, getting an overview of its main stakes and the related evolution of academic research.
Some of the main specialists in this field will participate in this event. Arnaud Vaganay (Meta-Lab), Laurent Gatto and Kirstie Whitaker (University of Cambridge), Marta Teperek (Delft University of Technology), Jessica Polka (ASAPbio), Lawrence Rajendran (Science Matters), Victoria Stodden (University of Illinois), Sünje Dallmeier-Tiessen (CERN), Michel Jaccard, Benedikt Fecher and Lucia Prieto will be invited speakers for the talks.
Each evening can host up to 100 participants, so make sure to register early enough to participate in one or more talks - Registration
