New synthesis activity at LQM

In the March 2019, we are happy to welcome our colleagues from the Chemistry Department of the Moscow State University. Dr. Igor Morozov and Anita Maksutova will synthesize single crystals of the compounds isostructural to iron-based superconductors, suitable for high-resolution measurements of the electronic structure and magnetic properties. The general aim of the project is to understand what makes the known unconventional high temperature superconductors so special, and to eventually suggest a route for the controlled search of the new families of high-Tc materials.
