New PhD student at LIPID

Megan Danell joined forces with the LIPID team on October 1, 2020. She is registered in the Doctoral Program in Architecture and Sciences of the City (EDAR).

Megan Danell studied architecture at the University of Idaho (USA). She holds a MA in architecture (graduating 2020). Throughout her academic career, she has had simultaneous employment opportunities providing diverse real world perspectives.

In her PhD project, as part of the LIGHTCAP initiative, she will focus on understanding and working towards bridging the gap between design and non visual effects. Potential interests include how the occupant's use of space impacts non visual effects and connections between non visual effects and visual comfort.
