Regulation of energy homeostasis by controlling the acetylation status and activity of a number of enzymes.

The team of Prof. Johan Auwerx (LISP - Laboratory of Integrative Systems Physiology) published new insides in the regulation of energy homeostasis by controlling the acetylation status and activity of a number of enzymes and transcriptional regulators. These new metabolic pathways could be useful in the management not only of metabolic diseases, but also of cancer.
