The Bike Center welcomes you in their new building since Tuesday, March 20th. And to celebrate this relocation, Sustainable Campus EPFL and the Bike Center team await you on Friday, April 20th for the official inauguration.
The Bike Center is moving out and welcomes you in their new building since Tuesday, March 20th.
Located at the north end of Av. Piccard, the new building is the result of the “Sustainable is beautiful” student project, organized by the Laboratory of Architecture and Sustainable Technologies (LAST), with the support of the DII, Sustainable Campus and SIA Vaud.
The Bike Center is the heart of EPFL’s cycling movement : a point of sale for new and second-hand bikes, cycling gear at reduced cost, as well as repairs at cost price. To complement the services offered to cyclists, a washing station and two self-repair stations in open access will soon be installed.
To celebrate the event, you are warmly invited to the public inauguration that will take place on Friday, April 20, from 1 to 6 pm. The program includes a guided tour by our mechanics, fun activities and a raffle with many cyclist prizes to be won.
