NCCR Chemical Biology Funding

The co-Direction of the NCCR Chemical Biology has been awarded to Prof. Kai Johnsson.
15.04.2010 Howard Riezman and Prof. Kai Johnsson have been awarded the Co-Directorship of an NCCR in Chemical Biology. This NCCR should in principle be financed for 12 years, with a first 4 year period at the level of 13.3 MF. The NCCR will be jointly directed with Howard Riezman from the University of Geneva. Its main objective is the use of chemistry to visualize and manipulate biological processes in living cells. The NCCR Chemical Biology will also establish a chemical screening platform and an interdisciplinary graduate school in Chemical Biology.
