Matthieu de Lapparent appointed professor

Matthieu de Lapparent has been appointed Associate Professor at the School of Business, Management and Finance of Swiss University of Applied Sciences and Arts Vaud, where he will start June, 01, 2017.

Matthieu is an economist interested in quantitative modeling of travel behaviors and land use. He combines microeconomics, data fusion techniques and advanced econometric methodologies to support appraisal and optimization of transport and land use policies that serves urban and economic development at various scales, from national to local levels. He is also interested in empirical industrial organization applied to transport. He has been working as a senior scientist at the Transport and Mobility Laboratory at ENAC since October 2014.
