Luce Grivat prize 2013 awarded to David Weissbrodt for his PhD thesis

David Weissbrodt, a former LBE PhD student who finished in December 2012 and now works as postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zürich and Eawag, has been awarded the 2013 "Luce Grivat" prize of CHF 5'000 for his PhD thesis "Bacterial Resource Management for Nutrient Removal in Aerobic Granular Sludge Wastewater Treatment Systems" dx.doi.org/10.5075/epfl-thesis-5641 Congratulations!

The "Luce Grivat" prize rewards the best Master project, Doctoral research or research project contributing a high level and innovative share in the field of environmental science and engineering and which has been carried out within the framework of EPFL.

The prize was presented to David by Professor Marilyne Andersen, Dean of the School of Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering at EPFL, during the ENAC Research Day on May 15, 2014.
