At this year's edition of the ISLS Annual Meeting in Helsinki, LMIS1 participated with Qinglan Shan presenting her work on mixed-reality learning in the cleanroom environment.
We're excited to share that our colleague Qinglan Shan recently presented a poster at the 2025 International Society of the Learning Sciences (ISLS) Annual Meeting in Helsinki. Her poster, titled “Mixed Reality Training in a Cleanroom to Bridge Intentional Learning and Actual Learning,” explored how immersive technologies like mixed reality can help improve training in cleanroom environments by connecting what learners aim to learn with what they actually take away.
The poster generated a lot of interest and sparked some great conversations around the role of mixed reality in education and hands-on training.
