LMIS1 at 2025 EPFL Master's graduation ceremony

The EPFL Master's graduation ceremony recently took place on October the 4th, with (not one, but...) two unexpected surprises for LMIS1!
On October the 4th, EPFL students from all the sections of our institute have been awarded with the assignment of their Master diplomas: such a well-deserved acknowledgment is the result of several years of hard work, intense studies and passion for science! It is a great pleasure to see more and more young, brilliant and creative students populating the community of EPFL graduated engineers.
During the ceremony, two incredible surprises for LMIS1 have been announced to the audience. First, our group head, Prof. Jürgen Brugger, has won the 2025 EPFL Award for Best Teaching, for his dedication to student learining and the pioneering pedagogical approach he has introduced in his lectures. Second, also Prof. Giovanni Boero has received a distiction for his outstanding efforts in teaching, being appointed one of the winners for the Polysphère Awards, specifically for the STI School of Engineering.
The recognition of these two awards reflects the engagement of our lab in forming the next generation of enginners, and it would have not been possible without the invaluable help from all the lab members, each one participating with exceptional devotion to the several teaching activities Prof. Brugger and Prof. Boero are responsible for. All the LMIS1 group wishes, therefore, to congratulate with Jürgen and Giovanni for such incredible achievements!
