Prof Weinand will give 3 conferences during the Woodrise Meetings ( Cross-border, intercantonal and interdepartmental meetings on the future of the forest and the wood industry) in Geneva
The ibois laboratory is proud to invite you to the lectures given by Prof. Yves Weinand during the Woodrise Meetings in Geneva. This event takes place in Geneva, from Wednesday the 30th of January to Saturday the 2nd of February.
The conferences will be held respectively:

Abstract :
Technological tools allow today to unravel the mysteries of each trunk even before cutting, a custom-made work, giving each tree a unique place. How does this process, emanating from EPFL, impact local entrepreneurs?
- Friday, February 1st at 9 am in the offices of the bank Pictet, Doors open at 8:30, the conference begins at 9 am and will be followed by a debate between the speakers,
- On Friday February 1st at 2:30 pm, the teacher will also present the Pavillon de Vidy at Pavillon Sicli.
Abstract :
Realization of the new Vidy Theater. A model of sustainable construction. Multiple technical innovations. Rapid construction adapted to the natural site in which it is located.
