Keynote lecture by Prof. Laloui at XXVII CNG – Reggio Calabria 2020

Prof. Lyesse Laloui will deliver a keynote lecture entitled “Energy from Underground Constructions” at XXVII CNG, taking place on the 22th – 24th June 2020 in Reggio Calabria, Italy.
The conference focuses on the issues of sustainable development, which is now a social priority linked to both environmental and economic aspects. The research of constructive technologies, production processes and environmentally friendly lifestyles is therefore essential for this purpose. In this context, Geotechnical Engineering plays an important role as it is the custodian of a wealth of theoretical and practical knowledge aimed at ensuring these fundamental objectives.
The keynote lecture covers the main aspects as well as the most recent applications of energy geostructures, which represent a breakthrough multifunctional technology for the sustainable development of present and future urban systems.
