Jean-Philippe Ansermet named Fellow of the APS

In its November 2011 meeting the American Physical Society (APS) bestowed the Fellowship of the Society to Prof. Jean-Philippe Ansermet.
Prof. Jean-Philippe Ansermet(LPMN) was elected Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS) "for research on spintronics in metallic systems and magnetic nanowires".
APS fellowship is valued by peers as a token of outstanding contributions to physics, only half percent of members are elected APS members.
