Invited Seminars

During her visit to Iran from November 27 to November 29, 2017, Katrin Beyer gave invited seminars at three universities in Tehran, Iran (Sharif University of Technology, University of Tehran and University of Science and Culture). The visit was also an opportunity to prepare a common proposal between the Civil Engineering Department of the Sharif University of Technology (Prof. Kiarash Dolatshahi) and the EESD-group at EPFL on the seismic safety of school buildings in rural Iran, which were heavily damaged during the recent earthquake at the border between Iran and Iraq.
