I&C Research Day 2011 - 15th edition!

On June 16, 2011, the School of Computer and Communication Sciences will host the 15th edition of its traditional Research Day. An occasion for the Faculty to present a scientific domain of interest to the public: « Graphics and Vision ».
In this fast growing, digital world, this theme is linked to the exploitation, gathering, and analysis of computer data and in particular, those coming from images (including 3D images). The ultimate goal of the closely related fields of Computer Vision and Computer Graphics is to generate, analyze, and manipulate visual content using computational techniques.
Distinguished invited speakers, IC scientists and demonstrations by start-ups will help visitors understand these technologies, their future promise, and the hurdles that must be overcome to achieve the aforementioned goals.
