Honorable mention in dissertation competition

 Niklaus Eggenberg defended his PhD thesis in December 2009. Co-supervised by Michel Bierlaire and Matteo Salani, the thesis entitled Combining robustness and recovery for airline schedules received yesterday an honorable mention for the Dissertation Award in Aviation Applications Section of INFORMS, the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Science, during the annual meeting in Austin, Texas.
