Has home comfort become a luxury?

A series of collective surveys conducted at the EPFL and the University of Geneva suggest that aspirations for domestic comfort are not necessarily in contradiction with more sober and supportive lifestyles, provided that a political reading of them is proposed. Garance Clément, postdoctoral fellow at the Urban Sociology Laboratory of the EPFL and at the Institute for Sociological Research of the University of Geneva, wrote a column on the subject in "Le Nouvelliste".
