Amongst the one hundred personalities chosen for this seventh edition of the 'Forum of the 100' by the magazine l'Hebdo, Marilyne Andersen, Associate Professor at ENAC and Head of the laboratory LIPID, was nominated for her work and her academic career.

"As every year since 2004, the weekly magazine l'Hebdo puts the spotlight on 100 personalities who are the makers of the French speaking part of Switzerland and who are invited to join the Forum adventure. Entrepreneurs, start-uppers, leading researchers, established or promising politicians, artists, creators, all illustrate the growth and the tremendous creativity of the region".
Such is the introduction of this week's 80 pages special report of l'Hebdo (N° 19) dedicated to the 100 personalities invited to participate in the 2011 Forum. Amongst the 14 scientists, we find Marilyne Andersen (on page 187), who has been working for several years now on the issue of the optimization of lighting in buildings to improve their ecological impact and confer them with healing virtues.
One can also find Prof. Hans Björn Püttgen, Head of the Energy Center at EPFL, and, amongst the "Leaders", our Vice-President for Academic Affairs and Head of the Earth and Planetary Science Laboratory, Prof. Philippe Gillet.
