A new episode in our Energy Center interview series! Today, we are pleased to present you Professor Wendy Queen.
Currently working at EPFL Valais Wallis, Wendy Queen and her Laboratory (LFIM) are designing novel materials capable to purify air and water. In a world where carbon dioxide emissions are constantly rising, these materials are able to capture pollutants and extract them from the environment or from industrial exhaust gases. They also can be used to extract precious materials from electronic waste.
