The executive committee of the European Frequency and Time Forum awarded the EFTF Young Scientist Award 2011 to Prof. Tobias J. Kippenberg "Contributions to optical frequency metrology by demonstration of a monolithic microresonator frequency comb generators". The award was conveyed at the EFTF/IFCS meeting in San Franscisco on May 2nd 2011.
