EESD at the 10th International Masonry Conference

The EESD group attended the 10th International Masonry Conference in Milan, Italy (July 9-11, 2018). Our postdoc Michele Godio showed the latest experimental results of shear tests carried out on plastered stone masonry walls at EPFL and presented a numerical model for capturing the interaction between the masonry and the plaster. The model and the tests have been achieved with the help of our postdoc Bastian Wilding, our PhD student Francesco Vanin and our former Master student Dionysia Michalogianni. Thanks to all of them for this great achievement!
