Dr Yuki Oyama appointed Assistant Professor

Dr. Yuki Oyama has been appointed a project assistant professor at the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, the University of Tokyo, Japan. He will join the group in October 2019.

Yuki's main research interests are behavior and network modeling for urban design. He completed his PhD in Urban Engineering at the University of Tokyo, in March 2017, based on his work on route choice and pedestrian activity modeling using GPS trajectory data. During his PhD, he was a Research Fellow at the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and a visiting researcher at the Urban Design Center Matsuyama. Since October 2017, he has been working as a Research and Teaching Associate at the Transport and Mobility Laboratory in ENAC. He is also a Research Fellow in the EuroTechPostdoc Programme since October 2018.
