Double Deck, laying of the foundation stone

At the heart of the campus, the Double Deck construction site has reached a symbolic milestone with the placement of a time capsule within its walls. Designed as a flexible learning space, the future building will offer 1,500 modular seats adapted to new forms of teaching. Following the demolition phase carried out in 2025, construction is progressing rapidly, with opening planned for the next academic year. A new season is beginning for EPFL — one focused on students.
