21.11.14 - The Academia-Industry Training (AIT) took place on Nov 10-17 simultaneously in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and Bangalore (India).

This programme is managed by CODEV within the Swiss Bilateral Programmes and funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI). The programme aims at connecting Indian, Brazilian and Swiss researchers with an entrepreneurial drive and preparing them for the market application of the outcome of their research.

Doing business in Brazil and India
The participants learn how to secure Venture Capital, they visited the international start-up accelerator, learned pitching, local business culture and how to build the technology and start-ups that will shape the future of Switzerland, Brazil, India… and beyond.

This programme continues in April 2015 with the second part of the AIT Camps taking place on the EPFL Campus. Such programmes help Switzerland remain an attractive and forward thinking country that keeps appealing smart minds worldwide.
