Demonstration of robotic assembly for civil engineering alumni

For the EPFL alumni day, IBOIS laboratory proposed a live demonstration of the use of robot for timber assembly.
As EPFL celebrates its 50th anniversary as a federal school, it is an opportunity to reunite its alumni to celebrate all the milestones accomplished to become a wordlwide recognized institution, and look at the future of our school.
On Saturday November 9th, 2019 stood a huge alumni reunion at EPFL, therefore the Civil Engineering Section organized a visit of laboratories and of the experimental halls.
On this special occasion, IBOIS laboratory proposed a live demonstration of the use of robot for timber assembly.
A big thanks to Nicolas Rogeau and Petras Vestartas, both PhD students at ibois, for their investment in this event and for the very impressive demonstration they provided.
