EPFL has decided that classes with at least 150 students will be given online starting this Wednesday, 11 March 2020. This measure is part of our effort to protect people at especially high risk. Below you will find all necessary informations for teaching staff and students.

STUDENTS:

All classes with at least 150 students will be given online. They will be recorded and hosted on Zoom. Links to the classes will be posted on Moodle.

List of the classes affected by the measures can be found on the following link: : information for students.

All other classes will be held normally.

TEACHING STAFF

CLASSES

All classes with at least 150 students will be given online. They will be recorded and hosted on Zoom. Links to the classes, along with forums where students can ask questions, will be posted on Moodle. These classes will not be held live.

REVIEW SESSIONS FOR CLASS EXERCISES

Review sessions for classes with at least 150 students will take place only if each room in which they are held will have less than 150 people. Otherwise, the review sessions will be held online for everyone in the class. Sessions that were scheduled to be held just after a class that will now be given online will be pushed back by one week. Teachers for these sessions must give students details about how the sessions will be run.
