Congratulations to Martina Paronesso

Martina Paronesso received the "Sarada M. et Raju A. Vinnakota 2017" Design award and the "Master SGEB en génie parasismique" 2017 award for her Masters thesis with title “Seismic Performance Evaluation and Retrofit of Existing School Buildings (CROCS-System) in Switzerland”. The thesis was supervised by Dr. Ahmed Elkady, post-doctoral scientist in RESSLab. The thesis director was Prof. Dimitrios Lignos. The awards were presented during the Civil Engineering graduation Ceremony in October 7 at EPFL by Prof. Badoux (Former EPFL President) and Dr. Thomas Wenk (Director of SGEB). Congratulations to Martina for this notable achievement. Martina will now continue as a scientific assistant in RESSLab at EPFL."
