Eugène Lemaitre has successfully completed his Master Thesis entitled "Actuator Synthesis and Optimization: Evaluation of Graph-Based Approaches" at LAMD.

He has explored the algorithmic challenges behind the simultaneous optimization of topology and parameters of electro-mechanical actuators. He has combined, in a single tool, multiple state-of-the-art optimization methods to propose an efficient graph-based approach that can search simultaneously for what components to use and their sizing. Further, he suggested a novel non-dominated sorting approach that promotes topology diversity and is an important decision-making support for engineers.

We congratulate him for his degree and wish him all the best for his future career.
