Chair MIR of Prof. Finger wins tender for Executive Education Program

The Chair MIR has been selected by the International Post Corporation to organize Executive Education Programs with focus on the postal industry.

A first one-week program will be held in October 2011 in Brussels and will be conducted on an annual basis. Selected among 13 international universities, EPFL-MIR and its Managing Director in charge of Postal Executive Education, Mr. Erik Swars, is “highly pleased that EPFL-MIR’s expertise in Executive Education and Research in the Postal Industry has been awarded.”
The program that will bring together 20 participants from international postal operators will analyze the trends and challenges in the postal industry as well as develop strategies to better cope with them. Besides Professor Finger and other acknowledged professors, top executives and leaders of the postal industry will be involved.
The Chair MIR offers a wide range of activities in the postal industry including the Executive Master in International Postal Management, the TIP Conference and Management Programs for India Post, Ministry of Communication of Vietnam, Regulatory Authority of Congo among others.
