Best Presentation Award received at ION GNSS+ 2017

TOPO lab research in UAV makes headlines at "the conference of the year" on satellite positioning and navigation technologies.
A best presentation award was received at ION GNSS+ 2017* meeting in Portland for the paper entitled: "Positioning Autonomy of a Fixed-Wing UAV through VDM/INS Integration with Experimental Results", authored by Mehran Khagani and Jan Skaloud from EPFL-TOPO. The second author presented the paper in the invited session on “UAV Navigation Technology and Algorithms”.
*ION GNSS+ is an international conference organized annually by the Satellite division of US Institute of Navigation. It is considered as the most important meeting in the domain of satellite positioning and navigation technology.
