Best Physics Thesis in The Netherland to E. Verhagen
The FOM Physics Thesis Prize 2010 for the best thesis in physics in The Netherlands has been awarded to Ewold Verhagen, at present a postdoc in the group of Prof. T. Kippenberg (SB-LPQM1).
The subject of Dr. Verhagen's awarded work is “Subwavelength light confinement with surface plasmon polaritons”. FOM is the Foundation for Fundamental Research on Matter, the physics division of the Dutch National Science Foundation
