At the 2nd International Conference on Energy-Efficient Computing and Networking held at Columbia University (New York, USA) from May 31 to June 1, 2011, Prof. Jean-Yves Le Boudec, his assistants Miroslav Popovic and Khalili Ramin from the Computer Communications and Applications Laboratory 2 (LCA2) and their co-authors Katerina Dufkova, Milan Bjelica and Lukas Kencl received the Best paper Award for the article "Energy Consumption Comparison Between Macro-Micro and Public Femto Deployment in a Plausible LTE Network". The work was performed in collaboration with the Swisscom lablet at EPFL.

The International Conference on Energy-Efficient Computing and Networking (e-Energy) is the second international conference on energy-efficient computing and networking.
