ACTIVE INTERFACES PhD Seminar
Organized jointly by the Laboratory of Architecture and Sustainable Technologies (LAST) and the Photovoltaics and Thin Film Electronics Laboratory (PV-Lab), the second ACTIVE INTERFACES PhD Seminar will take place on Wednesday 29 March 2017 at 10:15 am in the IDEAS space (LE 0 10).
On this occasion, the five PhD students participating in the ACTIVE INTERFACES interdisciplinary research project will present their work. Sergi Aguacil, PhD student at the Laboratory of Architecture and Sustainable Technologies (EPFL LAST), will be among them :
10.15 – 10.25: Welcome greetings and presentation of the seminar
10.25 – 10.45: Project 1 - Ana Martins, EPFL PV-Lab
10.45 – 11.05: Project 2 - Sergi Aguacil, EPFL LAST
11.05 – 11.25: Project 2 - Giuseppe Peronato, EPFL LIPID
11.25 – 11.45: Project 3 - Beatrice Petrovich, HSG IWÖ

The ACTIVE INTERFACES interdisciplinary research project, lead by the Laboratory of architecture and sustainable technologies (EPFL LAST), is conducted in the framework of the National Research Programme "Energy Turnaround" (NRP 70) of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). It aims at bringing a relevant contribution to the "Energy Strategy 2050". Through a holistic approach - from industrial production to local implementation - the project will bring a decisive strategic contribution to cross over the current obstacles for a large-scale advanced implementation of building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) into urban renewal processes.
For logistic aspects, participants are kindly requested to register via this link before Monday 27th March 2017.
