72 girls from Valais received their certificate "Internet and Code"
On Saturday 20 January 2018 took place the award ceremony of the courses Internet & Code pour les filles and Internet & Code für Mädchen in Sierre.
The girls took part in the course supervised by qualified HES-SO and EPFL students, with enthusiasm and perseverance during 11 weeks. Each participant created her own website and realized a coding project.
In the presence of Luciana Vaccaro, Rector of the HES-SO University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland and Farnaz Moser, Director of the Science Outreach Department of the EPFL, 72, 9 to 12 years old girls received their certificate before parents and grandparents present to applaud them. Then they presented proudly what they had realized to them.
