This 3rd Meeting was organized by Prof. Andrew J. Whittle from MIT and was divided into two different parts.

The first part (one day and a half) consisted in a succession of presentations about the different levels of GHSP (Ground Source Heat Pump) systems. Specialists of each level were present to exchange and link their different approaches. Prof. L. Laloui presented the different activities of research of the LMS linked with the LCEUA project. Dr. F. Dupray detailed the computational abilities of the LMS in simulating different kinds of GSHP systems.

During the second part of the meeting, attenders and speakers were divided into three groups according their domain of competence to lead useful brain-storming. Prof. L. Laloui chaired the group working on structural and environmental consequences of GSHP systems at building, district and city scale.
