Virginie Lurkin appointed professor at TU Eindhoven

Dr. Virginie Lurkin has been appointed Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences, Eindhoven University of Technology.

Virginie holds a PhD in Economics and Management Sciences from HEC-Liège, Belgium. During her PhD, she was a Research Fellow at the Belgian National Fund for Scientific Research (FNRS) and a visiting scholar at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA. Her main research interests are at the interface between choice modelling and optimization and the domain of application of her work is the transportation industry. She has been working as a postdoc at the Transport and Mobility Laboratory at ENAC since October 2016. She will join the group Operations, Planning, Accounting and Control (OPAC) at Eindhoven University of Technology in September 2018.
