Ursula Röthlisberger elected member of the IAQMS

Within the framework of the 2015 Annual Meeting of the International Academy of Quantum Molecular Sciences (IAQMS), which took place on June 7th and 8th, 2015 in Beijing in China, Prof. Ursula Röthlisberger was elected to become member of the prestigious academy, which counts among their members many of the top quantum chemists/physicists(former members include for example people like Louis De Broglie, Vladimir A. Fock, John C. Slater). Currently the academy has 120 members among which less than 10 are women.

The International Academy of Quantum Molecular Sciences was founded in Menton (France) in 1967. The members are chosen among scientists from all countries in the field of quantum molecular sciences. The Academy has as its main goal to provide a forum for international contact and collaboration and a periodical evaluation of the main developments, advances and promising direction of research in the broad field of its interests.
